I look at the title I chose and go “Hmm.” Still, it all makes a bit of sense to me, after I elaborate on what Utopia entails.

So let’s have a look at some possible outcomes of a Utopian-capable intelligence. Let’s start by assuming a sort of high-tech Utopia, shall we? How might that work?

What we used to call “the internet” and “high-tech” will become a thing from another time, a thing from the Stone Age, and technological advancement and cultural advancement will go hand-in-hand, creating a scenario basically like world peace.

That’s not exactly the scenario I have in mind regarding a Utopian future, but it’s a plausible one for some, especially if one doesn’t stop to think about it.

In terms of logic, saying that technology will save us because it’s convenient is a bit like saying of a politician, “He kept us out of war…,” as if that’d be some deeply…
